New Milford Junior Football League (NMJFL) is a volunteer-run youth football and cheerleading organization serving New Milford, New Jersey and the surrounding communities. This website, nmjfl.org, is the league's public site for schedules, standings, division information, news, photos, forms, and league contact details.
This policy explains what information the league collects through this website and its communications, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
Contact form: when you send us a message we receive your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject you select, and your message.
League communication sign-ups: if you sign up for league updates we receive your name, an email address and/or mobile phone number, and your email and text message preferences.
Photo submissions: if you submit a photo to our gallery we receive the photo, the caption you provide, and the name and email address of the parent or guardian submitting it.
Basic site information: our hosting platform may record standard technical information such as the pages viewed and general usage, used in aggregate to keep the site working properly.
To reply to questions and requests sent to the league.
To send league updates by email or text message to families who asked to receive them, such as schedule changes, registration reminders, and event announcements.
To review submitted photos and, when approved, publish them in the site gallery.
To coordinate registration, teams, volunteers, and league events.
Photos in our gallery are submitted by parents or guardians using our photo submission form, and are published only after review by league volunteers. This website does not create accounts for children and the league does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to remove a photo of their child, and we will remove it promptly.
Every league email includes a way to unsubscribe from future messages. If you receive text messages from the league, you can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies with the season, and message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers that help the league operate, such as our email and text message delivery services, our website and registration platforms, and our payment and league management tools. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our players, families, and volunteers.
Access to league records is limited to the board members and volunteers who need it to run the league. We keep information only as long as it is needed for league purposes, and we remove it when it is no longer required.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information the league holds about you, and you can opt out of league emails and text messages at any time. Send your request to president@nmjfl.com and it will be handled by the league board.
